- What are the terms of use for the technology?
The technology is provided for free for any project. The one requirement is that a reference, which can be a logo or text link, to alternativaplatform.com as the creator of the technology is placed in a location visible to users. You can choose from one of the following options:
- in the window of the application;
- in the lower part of the project;
- on the startup screen of the project;
- if you cannot put a link in the project, do it in your portfolio;
- if you cannot put an outside link (i.e. due to the requirements of a social network), then put a link to our group in that network.
- Can you develop a project for me for a fee?
No, but you can contact recommended studios or post your offer at the forum.
- Can I hide the AlternativaPlatform logo in Alternativa3D-based application?
Yes, you can do it with special integrated option camera.view.hideLogo().
- Is it possible not to display a link to AlternativaPlatform as the developer of the technology in my project? I am ready to pay for it.
No, it is not possible. We want to make our technology maximally accessible but not anonymously.
- How can I import graphics to the Alternativa3D?
The engine imports data in Collada format, including bones and animations.
- Where can I get World Builder for the Alternativa3D?
You can use plugin for 3DSMax (download here). Advanced editor is in development.
- I have some questions about the technology. Where can I get technical support?
Our experts regularly answer technical questions at forum.
- How can I buy your server solution and what is the price?
AlternativaCore server solution is still in development. We use it for own purposes but the technology is far from being ideal. Therefore we do not provide it as a separate product. It is available only for partner projects.
